At some point, we have to ask ourselves, do we really need this? But the next live action Disney movie in the works is “Peter Pan.” They’ve cast Alexander Molony to play the boy who never grows up. Unless you have a really young kid, you probably have no idea who this is, but he was on Disney Junior’s “Claude.” And Wendy Darling will be played by Ever Anderson, who plays the younger version of Scarlett Johansson in the upcoming “Black Widow.” This will be an update to the 1953 classic. Remember when Steven Spielberg tried to do it with “Hook” starring Robin Williams as Peter and Julia Roberts as Tinkerbell? That was considered a box office dud.

SPOILER ALERT: They’ve moved on to group C on “The Masked Singer.” The final six performers will go head-to-head before the last ones standing take on the remainders from Groups A and B. The same jury that convicted Harvey Weinstein of a felony sex crime and rape has sentenced him to 23 years in prison, with five years of supervised probation after he is released. Harvey turns 68 next week, meaning that he will be 91 when he’s released…if he makes it that long. Right after the sentence was handed down, Harvey complained of chest pains….again. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Actually, back in February, Harvey complained of chest pains and he ended up having to have a stent procedure.

Clare Crawley begins filming “The Bachelorette” on Friday. I wonder if her potential husbands will throw her a 39th birthday party on March 20? Yes, Clare will be 39 next week, making her the oldest Bachelorette in franchise history — an honor previously held by then 32-year-old Rachel Lindsay. ABC revealed yesterday that Clare will have 32 men from which to choose, ranging in age from 23 to 42, and only 8 of them are age 30 and older! One of them includes Tyler Cameron’s hunky roommate, 28-year-old Mat James. Season 16 of “The Bachelorette” begins Monday, May 18, on ABC.

A national treasure has tested positive for the Coronavirus! If you follow Tom Hanks on Instagram, he always posts random gloves he finds lying around. Yesterday, he posted a picture of a disposable rubber glove tossed into a trash can with a hazardous waste lining. He captioned it, “Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive. Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no? We’ll keep the world posted and updated. Take care of yourselves!
