Elwood Edwards dead at 74… The Farrelly Brothers’ new comedy… Lamar Odom just ordered his own custom doll… A $12,000,000 NDA… and Three people are charged in relation to the death of Liam Payne

The “You’ve Got Mail” guy has passed away. Elwood Edwards passed away this week just one day shy of his 75th birthday after a long illness. Back in 1989, Elwood was paid $200 to record four lines: “Welcome”, “You’ve Got Mail,” “Files Done,” and “Goodbye.” Elwood also worked for many years as a graphics and camera operator at a local Cleveland TV station. In 2016, he was also working as an Uber driver.

In movie news, the Farrelly Brothers have a new Christmas movie coming out later this month called Dear Santa. In the movie, a boy wants to prove to his friends that Santa is real, so he decides to write a letter to Santa asking him to show himself. Unfortunately, the boy misspells Santa’s name, and ends up writing a letter to Satan, who never gets letters from children. He’s so flattered that he decides to show up and the hilarity ensues! Look for Dear Santa on Paramount+ and digital on Nov. 25. In other movie news, there’s a new Star Wars trilogy is in the works, but this one will NOT be a continuation of the Skywalker Saga, which was told in Episodes 1-9. This trilogy will focus on a new story and new characters, but there’s no word when it takes place, or if any pre-existing characters will appear.

Lamar Odom has never gotten over Khloe Kardashian. She won’t have him, but that doesn’t mean he still can’t have her. His manager told TMZ that Lamar saw an ad for life-sized dolls in the news about a month ago and knew instantly he needed one. He went to the RealDoll facility in Vegas to check out the models, and ordered a custom doll with the same curves and a face as similar to Khloe as possible. The dolls sell for between $8K-$20K, but Lamar reportedly got a discount.

On October 22, Zach Bryan announced on his Instagram that he and Brianna Chickenfry had broken up, which was news to her. Yes, they’d been fighting for a few days, but she was blindsided by the public announcement. Brianna needed a minute, so she and her BFFs podcast hosts put the show on pause for a minute, but now Brianna is ready to talk. That’s because, she says, she refused Zach’s $12M offer to keep her mouth shut. During a solo segment that was apparently filmed last week, Brianna shared, “ After everything was done, I was approached by his team and I was offered a lot of money, a big lump sum of money and a few options.” Brianna claimed she would’ve received the money in payments over three years in exchange for being silent about their relationship, which she claims was emotionally abusive. She claimed Zach’s team also offered to buy her a house or an apartment in NYC. Brianna admits she went back and forth over her decision, ultimately deciding she wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if she took it, especially after the emotional abuse. In fact, she said she’s still afraid of him. Meantime, TMZ got a photo of a large moving truck parked outside of Zach’s waterfront mansion about an hour south of Boston yesterday, loading up all of Brianna’s stuff.

Argentinian authorities have charged three people in connection with Liam Payne’s death — a hotel employee, an alleged drug dealer, and a friend who reportedly accompanied Liam on a daily basis during his hotel stay. That friend has been charged with “abandonment of a person followed by death.” Rogelio Nores has been Liam’s friend for years and says he played a huge role in keeping him sober. Yes, he was with Liam throughout his hotel stay, and it’s been reported that he’s the friend who’s been charged. However, Rogelio released a statement to MailOnline saying, “I never abandoned Liam, I went to his hotel 3 times that day and left 40 minutes before this happened. There were over 15 people at the hotel lobby chatting and joking with him when I left…I’ve given my statement to the prosecutor on October 17 as a witness and I haven’t spoken to any police officer or prosecutor ever since.” So we still don’t really know who this “friend” is. Meantime, Liam’s father returned safely to the UK with his son’s body yesterday. A source told The Sun, “Plans are in motion for Liam’s funeral and a date has been set, (but) his family are determined to keep things as private as possible…”
