Weekend box office news… Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei blames cyber bullies… Kylie Jenner’s b-day present… Rob Kardashian having second thoughts… Taylor Swift kisses partygoer after performing with Nelly

“Suicide Squad” had a huge opening weekend, bringing in just over $135 million and breaking the all-time opening record for August. “Guardians of the Galaxy” held the old record, earning $94.3 million in its opening weekend two years ago. In its second week, “Jason Bourne” was second with $22.7 million. That was followed by “Bad Moms” with $14.2 million. “The Secret Life of Pets” is still hanging in there with another $11.6 million for fourth place. Coming in fifth was “Star Trek Beyond” with $10.2 million.

Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei announced on Saturday that she’s taking a break from Twitter. She blames it on cyber bullies. She explained, “Over the past four years of being in the public eye I’ve learned to grow a thick skin to critics and those who may not like me. I’ve never been one to deny anyone of their opinions, but over the course of this last week and especially over the last 48 hours I’ve not just been cyber bullied, I’ve been racially cyberbullied with tweets and pictures so horrific and racially charged that I can’t subject myself any longer to the hate.” She added, “Hiding behind a computer and putting people down, especially for the color of their skin doesn’t make you cool, it makes you a coward!” She also thanked Twitter for “immediately jumping into action when they were alerted to the situation.”

Kylie Jenner turns 19 on Wednesday. Last week, she gave herself a custom Land Rover SVAutobiography. And on Saturday, her rumored fiancé Tyga couldn’t wait to give her a $200K Mercedes-Benz Maybach, complete with a big red bow. Remember last year, Tyga gave her a Ferrari, which we later found out was actually leased in Kylie’s name.

Rob Kardashian reportedly is having second thoughts about agreeing to film a reality show with his fiancee Blac Chyna. According to TMZ, Rob has blown off scheduled filming sessions over the past month because the show is interfering with their relationship. It’s kind of shocking Rob even agreed to do this in the first place because he blames “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” for destroying his family.

Taylor Swift brought her girlfriend Karlie Kloss as her date to oil heir Mike Hess’ 30th birthday party in the Hamptons on Saturday. Nelly was onstage performing when he pulled Taylor up on stage with him to perform his 2002 hit “Dilemma,” with Taylor singing Kelly Rowland’s part. At one point during the song, Taylor walked over to the side of the stage and gave the birthday boy a peck on the cheek. Other party guests included Heidi Klum and Chris Rock. Taylor’s boyfriend Tom Hiddleston was missing….
