TikTok is trying something new….for them…every other social media site has this. TikTok is testing out what they call Stories. A TikTok Stories video will disappear after 24 hours just like Instagram and Snapchat. TikTok is testing Stories in a few countries outside of the U.S. and it may not become a permanent feature after testing.

In TV news, “Yellowstone” has been a huge hit for Paramount+, and they’re about to start filming its prequel, “1883.” The series will follow the Dutton family’s journey as they travel from Texas to Montana in search of a better life. Real life husband and wife Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have been cast as James and Margaret Dutton. Sam Elliott will be play the cowboy who guides them on their journey. And the first teaser trailer has dropped for “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” which premieres Sept. 7 on FX. Beanie Feldstein stars as Monica Lewinsky, with Clive Owen as President Clinton, Edie Falco as Hillary Clinton, and Ryan Murphy’s favorite Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp. Monica serves as an executive producer and “Impeachment” will focus on the perspectives of Monica, her good buddy Linda Tripp — who secretly recorded her, and Paula Jones, who sued President Clinton for sexual harassment. And “Variety” is reporting that the next host of “Jeopardy!” is going to be the show’s executive producer, Mike Richards. Sony reportedly was very impressed with him when he guest-hosted back in February. A recent poll showed Ken Jennings to be the fan favorite to replace Alex Trebek.

The Weeknd’s new single “Take My Breath” will be released at midnight ET on Friday. The video for the song has been previewed in an Olympics ad and on social media this week. The video WAS supposed to air in Imax theaters ahead of the premiere of “The Suicide Squad” movie this weekend, which would have been a HUGE promotion for The Weeknd. That’s not happening now. A source told “Variety” it’s because the “intense strobe lighting” in the video can trigger epileptic seizures.

At the age of 18, Olivia Rodrigo has gotten her first apartment. She told “GQ” that the only thing she has framed and hanging on her wall right now is a tweet from Cardi B that said, “You doing sooo good for your age. Don’t let no toxic s*** get to you and don’t let nobody restrict you from your voice.” Olivia said, “I honestly bawled. I literally saw it and cried. I was like, ‘Thanks, Cardi. I’m not going to listen to BS.” And remember when Courtney Love called Olivia rude, accusing her of copying one of her album covers and demanding flowers and a handwritten note? “GQ” asked Olivia about it, and all she had to say was, “To be honest, I’m just flattered that Courtney Love knows that I exist.”

According to “Forbes,” Rihanna has officially hit BILLIONAIRE status. They estimate her fortune is around $1.7B, making her the second richest woman in the entertainment industry. Oprah is still on top with her estimated $2.7B. But Rihanna is the richest female musician, which is ironic considering the bulk of her fortune isn’t from her music. Forbes says her Fenty Beauty is worth an estimated $2.8B. Rihanna owns half the company, so her cut is $1.4B. The rest of her fortune comes from her stake in her Savage x Fenty lingerie company, which is worth an estimated $270M, and about $30M is from her music career.
