Everybody’s getting notified that their streaming service subscriptions are going up. But Disney+ is doing the opposite. The basic plan is $7.99/month, but they’re going to give you the option of paying a little less…..if you’re willing to watch commercials. New subscribers have apparently stalled out and Disney has a goal of adding another 230M-260M subscribers by 2024. If a lower price point doesn’t do it, they’re also going to add more mature content. No, not like THAT…..Disney+ will add their Marvel shows that were previously on Netflix. And with that, they’ll also be adding new parental controls.
Disney+ is getting a cheaper subscription option that will offer the same content, but with ads included. It will be less than the standard $7.99 subscription, but its price has not yet been announced. https://t.co/hlkjIari1T pic.twitter.com/hulCMHZo5T— IGN (@IGN) March 4, 2022
He’s made a big impression on the big screen, starring in “Rocketman,” “Kingsman,” and “Sing,” and Taron Egerton was hoping to make just as big an impression on the London stage. And he did! But not like he’d hoped. Midway through opening night, Taron collapsed on stage, and it wasn’t part of the scene. One of his co-stars stopped the performance and the curtain came down. Yes, there WAS a doctor in the house who rushed from the audience and went backstage. After a 40-minute break, the director came out and told the audience that Taron was “absolutely fine,” but an understudy would take over for the final 15 minutes of the play. The following day, Taron released a statement, saying, “I am completely fine. Slightly sore neck and a bruised ego but I’m fine. I’ve decided to put a positive spin on it and I would appreciate it if anyone who was in the theatre last night just said that I gave such a committed, electrifying performance that my body couldn’t handle it and checked out..”

Big Al has something in common with Aaron Rodgers. They both went online and got ordained! On Saturday, Aaron performed the ceremony for his teammate David Bakhtiari’s wedding in Montecito. And Aaron’s “plus one” for the day was Shailene Woodley! A source told Entertainment Tonight, “During the cocktail hour, she lovingly patted his behind as she was seated and he was standing next to her and placed his hand around the back of her neck…On the way to the reception, the pair was walking arm in arm as they made their way to the ballroom.” We’re not sure if the engagement is on or off at this point, but it looks like things are going really great for these two.

Kanye West faced a lot of online backlash for his music video for “Eazy,” which he released on Instagram the same day a judge declared him and Kim Kardashian legally single. In the mostly claymation video, Kanye kidnaps and buries Pete Davidson alive, but ultimately beheads him. While many thought he crossed a line, Kanye doesn’t agree. He posted on his IG Story, “Art is therapy just like this view, art is protected as freedom of speech, art inspires and simplifies the world. Art is not a proxy for any ill or harm. Any suggestion otherwise about my art is false and mal intended 🖤.” And a source told Entertainment Tonight, Pete’s not worked up about the video at all. In fact, the source said Pete found the claymation version of himself “hysterical” and said, “He is almost flattered by it all because it’s so ridiculous to him.”
