Bhad Bhabie update… A new Netflix show… Taylor Swift COULD be helping the Cubs… Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes have moved… and MTV VMAs rumors
About a month ago, Bhad Bhabie posted a video of her boyfriend — and baby’s father — Le Vaughn beating her. She said she didn’t do it to humiliate or punish him, she just wanted him to see that he needs to get help. Apparently, things are going swimmingly because the two of them just got matching tattoos of each other’s faces on their legs. He has an image of Bhad Bhabie posting seductively with her finger in her mouth. Hers is of his face with her hand covering his eyes.

Just when you thought they couldn’t possibly give us another reality competition show, Netflix presents Building the Band. Hosted by the Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean, judges Liam Payne, Kelly Rowland and Nicole Scherzinger will try to build the perfect band. You may remember that Nicole was one of the judges on the X Factor UK when Liam auditioned as a solo artist and ended up being forced into a group with four other young lads, resulting in One Direction. Of their new show, Netflix says, “What will happen when the bands finally meet, and looks, choreography, and style come into play? With incredible performances, compelling drama, and one big goal — to find the next great music band — the stage is set for an unforgettable experience.” Filming has reportedly started, but we don’t have a release date yet.

The Chicago Cubs started off the season less than meh, but things are looking up. The Cubs have won 9 of their previous 12 games, including Wednesday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Cubs were down 10-3 going into the 7th but managed to come back and win 14-10. Who do they have to thank for this reversal of fortune? Taylor Swift. A couple weeks ago, Cubs Manager Craig Counsell was gifted with a Taylor Swift candle. He told the Marquee Sports Network that he and clubhouse manager Danny Miller have been lighting it in his office before their games, and they’ve had a “nice little run” ever since. “So,” he said, “We’re going to credit Taylor Swift.” It’s not one of those candles where they make celebrities look like saints. It’s a pink candle in a jar with a label that reads “This Smells Like Taylor Swift.” Mr. Counsell didn’t describe the smell, but I looked it up, and apparently Taylor smells like pink pepper, patchouli, amber, cedar, pomegranate, and florals.

According to Biasly, Life & Style is ranked as “fair” when it comes to reliability, so take this for what it’s worth…Life & Style is reporting exclusively that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are butting heads after their move from the hustle and bustle of LA to the sleepy seaside town of Montecito, with a population of less than 9000. Their source says, “It was Eva who pushed for the move. She wanted to raise their daughters (9-year-old Esmeralda and 8-year-old Amada) outside of Los Angeles, and Ryan agreed. The problem is, he’s restless and needs the action of a big city.” The source went on to say, “Ryan loves adventure and Eva has become an extremely private, paranoid person. They really are opposites in almost every way.” The source says Ryan was okay over the summer because they spent a lot of time traveling, including a trip to London for the Olympics.” The source said, “That works well for Ryan, but it hasn’t been great for putting down roots. Eva has more control in the relationship, and the kids are the thing keeping them together.”

Ahead of this Wednesday night’s MTV VMAs, rumors about a love triangle between Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, and Sabrina Carpenter are building steam. After trauma bonding during the covid lockdowns, Shawn and Camila announced their demise in November of 2021. Fast forward to January 2023, when Shawn was spotted handing out casually with Sabrina, and then the two of then were seen leaving Miley Cyrus’ album release party together. A couple months later, Shawn and Camila are making out at Coachella, which apparently resulted in them giving their relationship another try, but that fizzled out in a few short weeks. So that brings us to now. Sabrina’s Short n’ Sweet album dropped last Friday, and there are some songs on there fans believe are about Camila and Shawn. In Coincidence, Sabrina sings, “What a surprise, your phone just died / Your car drove itself from LA to her thighs / Palm Springs looks nice, but who’s by your side? Damn it, she looks kinda like the girl you outgrew / Least that’s what you said / What a coincidence.” That’s obviously in reference to Camila and Shawn hooking up at Coachella, which is held in Palm Springs. Her song Taste is about a guy not being able to decide between his ex and someone new. Sabrina sings, “I heard you’re back together and if that’s true / You’ll just have to taste me when he’s kissin’ you / If you want forever, I bet you do / Just know you’ll taste me too.” Ouch. So right after Sabrina’s album came out, Camila posted a video lip-synching to her song June Gloom, which many believe is about Shawn and Sabrina hooking up. Camila — who’s a blonde now, if you missed it, — mouthed, “She’s cool, I heard / Won’t act surprised, I saw the pictures / We’re a house fire, for sure / Hope it’ll burn out, but it just gets bigger / If she’s so amazing, why are you on this side of town? If you like her so much, what are you here trying to find out?” One person commented, “Posting this now is so messy.” Another posted, “promoting this song with the blonde hair is a whole other level & im here for it.” A third said, “i cannot take my favs being in a love triangle again please can we just blame the man.” All eyes will be on these 3 at the VMAs and we can’t wait to talk about it on Thursday!
