Amber Heard’s legal team tried to get the judge in Johnny Depp’s defamation trial to declare it a mistrial so they could start all over again. Their reason was, one of the jurors who decided Amber’s fate wasn’t supposed to be there. What happened was, a jury duty summons was sent to a residence where the two people with the same name lived. It was a Sr. and Jr. situation. Amber’s lawyers claimed the 77-year-old Senior was supposed to be on the juror, not his 52-year-old Junior. Based on that, they argued that verdict should be tossed and Amber should get a new trial. However, the judge told them to pound sand, as my husband likes to say. The judge said the jury summons had no date of birth on it, so it was reasonable for either the father or the son to appear for jury duty. And besides that, the judge agreed with Johnny’s lawyers that Amber’s team knew about this situation all along, but rather than bring it up before or during the trial, they waited to see whether Amber won or lost so they could use it to ask for a mistrial. And then on top of all that, the judge also dismissed their argument that the $10M the jury awarded Johnny is excessive, so Amber is still on the hook for that.

Over the last few weeks, there have been several reports about what Armie Hammer has been up to since he was kicked out of Hollywood for abusing and allegedly snacking on women. Variety is now reporting that Armie is selling timeshares for a resort hotel in the Cayman Islands. Reportedly, all the money Armie earned as an actor is gone, so he has to work a 9-to-5 job to support his two kids who live on the island with his ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers.

A former contestant on the Netflix show “Love is Blind” is suing the show. Jeremy Hartwell was on Season 2. I hope you can remember him, because I sure can’t. But Jeremy alleges contestants are supplied endless amounts of alcohol, but they’re often denied food and water. He claims the producers not only kept them drunk, thirsty and hungry, they also kept them sleep-deprived, which made them more prone to emotional manipulation. Jeremy also claims the cast was WAY underpaid, averaging a little more than $7/hour. He’s now filed a class-action lawsuit and he’s hoping other contestants will join in.

Around 10pm Tuesday, Britney Spears was tooting down the 101 in LA when she ran out of gas. When police arrived, Britney was sitting safely in the backseat of a passerby’s vehicle. Once police stopped traffic, an officer got behind the wheel of Britney’s Mercedes while she sat in the passenger seat, and others pushed the vehicle off to the side of the road. Police waited with Britney until her husband Sam Asghari arrived to take her home.

My mouth dropped when I saw that Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are expecting another baby together. They broke up back in December when she found out that he had not only cheated on her AGAIN, but he’d also gotten the woman pregnant. It looks like Khloé and Tristan’s baby was conceived via surrogate about a month before Khloé found out about his affair. Khloé’s rep told Page Six, “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family.” The baby is due any day now, and reportedly, it’s a boy.
