Would you rather be rich or famous? Always choose rich! Famous doesn’t always pay. Take Jon Gosselin, for instance. He’s famous because of “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” but he’s broke. And since he needs money to pay a lawyer to fight for his visitation rights, Jon’s girlfriend has decided to set up a GoFundMe page to help her man out. In her posting, Colleen Conrad explains, “Fame and fortune do not always go together, and Jon is the perfect example of that reality….He works a steady job and earns extra money on the side as a disc jockey. Now he is forced into an expensive unjust battle for custody, one that drains his time, energy, and finances….Money raised in this campaign will go to the legal battle ahead as Jon secures his rightful place in the lives of his family.” Jon and his ex-wife Kate Gosselin have eight children — 16-year-old twin girls and 13-year-old sextuplets.
Colin Kaepernick can’t find a job in the NFL, but he found a job writing a book. Page Six is reporting Colin just signed a deal worth just over a million bucks. No comment from his reps or the publisher. You may very well be aware but I’ll remind you anyway, Colin is the one who started the whole sitting-during-the-national-anthem protest.
You may have thought they were on their last leg, but Kris Jenner worked her hoodoo-voodoo with E! and got a $150 million contract extension that keeps “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” on the air through 2019. Kris gets her ten percent ($15 million) plus whatever she earns as a major player on the show. According to TMZ, 50-60 percent of the money is split between the oldest three daughters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, with Kim getting a little more because DUH. And all their kids? According to TMZ, they get nothing.
Drake turned 31 yesterday and he decided to celebrate by throwing himself “Aubrey’s Re-Bar Mitzvah.” Check out Champagne Papi’s Instagram to see a picture of Drake’s ORIGINAL bar mitzvah board from when he turned the big 1-3. Drake and his friends had dinner at Catch before heading over to the Poppy nightclub to get the party on. It doesn’t look like Bella Hadid was there. But Leo DiCaprio was! And so were Hailey Baldwin and Jamie Foxx and Tobey Maguire and Kelly Rowland and a bunch of other party people.
For those holding out hope….for those who look at Justin and Selena like I look at Justin and Britney…and in the immortal lyrics of Justin Bieber himself, “Never say never!” THIS is a sign that Jelena may be on the verge of getting back together. On Sunday, TMZ caught photos of Justin pulling up his white Mercedes G-Wagon to Selena’s home in Studio City and then 10 minutes later, Selena shows up! Now, it wasn’t just the two of them…other people were there. But I’ll tell you who WASN’T there — The Weeknd! He’s out on tour while his girlfriend has her ex-boyfriend over to the house!
