Jimmy Fallon’s holiday album… A$AP Rocky’s trial update… Justin Bieber money was mismanaged… Recommendation for the Menendez brothers… and Jamie Foxx addresses whether Diddy was ‘responsible’ for his 2023 hospitalization

Last year, Jimmy Fallon and Meghan Trainor’s Christmas song Wrap Me Up was a big hit, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Airplay chart. Based on who’s joining him for his upcoming Christmas album, he may have a few more hits coming. Jimmy has revealed the 16-song track list and the A-listers joining him for Holiday Seasonings, out November 1.

He’s putting Wrap Me Up with Meghan on this album, but some of his other collaborations include Holiday with the Jonas Brothers, New Year’s Eve Polka with Weird Al Yankovic & the Roots, One Glove with Will Ferrell, Hallmark Movie with Cara Delevingne, Almost Too Early for Christmas with the one and only Dolly Parton, and of course Jimmy is throwing his best friend Justin Timberlake a bone with You’ll Be There.

Remember how I told you A$AP Rocky’s trial for allegedly shooting his former friend A$AP Relli three years ago was finally going to start Monday, but I could barely find a blip about it? Well, that’s because the trial got postponed AGAIN. It got bumped to November 12 and now to January 21. The first postponement was so A$AP Rocky could perform a benefit concert in Thailand. The second was something about witness lists and discovery evidence. But in his ruling, the judge said NO MORE DELAYS. Jury selection WILL begin on January 21. By the way, without saying her name, the judge did ask A$AP Rocky’s attorney if “the mother of his two children” would be attending the trial. The attorney said she may come for the start, but probably won’t be there for the whole thing. The trial is expected to last between 7 to 10 days. A$AP has pleaded not guilty to two charges of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and faces up to 8 years in jail. Meantime, he and the mother of his two children are vacationing in Barbados.

Sources told TMZ that Justin Bieber is reportedly thinking about suing his former business managers for mismanaging his money. One source said Justin has been livid for years because he believes he lost a huge amount of money because of their poor decisions, but some people in his current team aren’t on board with suing. Those who are anti-lawsuit say Justin was personally irresponsible with his money for quite some time, and should be pointing the finger at himself. We don’t know how much money he blames his former team for squandering, but we do know that Justin was reportedly worth $100M before selling his music catalog for $200M back in January 2023.

Erik and Lyle Menendez were found guilty for the 1989 murders of their parents and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. They began their time in 1996, and now almost 40 years later, they may finally be getting out. The LA DA’s office has filed the paperwork asking a judge to resentence the Menendez brothers. And based on time served, he would like to see them released immediately. In his petition, DA George Gascón said Erik and Lyle have been model prisoners and pose no risk to society. And he admits that Ryan Murphy’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story impacted his decision to speed up this process. It’s still up to the judge to decide, but Cooper Koch — who plays Erik in the Monsters series — said he is “overwhelmed with gratitude and hope for the progress” being made. But it’s important to note that not everyone is on board with the brothers being released, including one of their uncles. However, several other family members do want to see Erik and Lyle released, and the judge will take all that into consideration. A hearing is set for November.

Earlier this month, Jamie Foxx performed 3 standup shows in Atlanta that were filmed for his upcoming Netflix special What Had Happened Was. A couple of people who were at those shows claim Jamie said Diddy is responsible for his near-death experience and that he’s the one who called the FBI and reported him for sex trafficking charges. But you would think if Jamie really said that, this story would be EVERYWHERE. While Jamie did make jokes about Diddy and baby oil, it’s possible these two just misunderstood what Jamie said. A source close to Diddy told Daily Mail, “There is no truth to Sean Combs putting Jamie Foxx in the hospital.”
