If you have(n’t) been keeping up with “American Idol,” you know that last night was elimination night. The judges are granted only one save per season, which they hadn’t used yet. But after next week, they would no longer have the option of saving anyone any more. So last night, when baby-faced Sam Woolf found himself singing for his life, the judges unanimously decided to use the save. Cue the confetti. So next week, the Top 8 battle it out again, with no hope of a judges’ save.

Jennifer Lopez is LOVING this. Her TV company outbid her ex-boyfriend Puff Daddy’s Revolt for the Fuse channel. Revolt offered nearly $200 million, but JLo’s NuvoTV network was willing to go a little higher. The exact amount they bid isn’t clear, but the company that owns Fuse had tried to set the asking price for about $400 million. In 2012, Jennifer partnered with NuvoTV, which focuses on American Latinos. The LA-based channel now reaches 34 million households. The deal with Fuse will allow them distribution into 74 million homes.

Even though the Palace is trying to play down the idea, sources say Cressida Bonas’ family held a summit to discuss her upcoming engagement to Prince Harry, and how this is going to affect their lives from this point forward. The couple have been very secretive about dating in the past, arriving and leaving separately from parties. But recently, they’ve been openly displaying signs of affection — as open as you can be publicly when you’re a member of the Royal Family, that is. A source to the Daily Mail that Harry is planning to take Cressida to the Queen’s Scottish retreat this summer, which is considered a rite of passage for any royal bride-to-be. After William took Kate Middleton there for a visit, their engagement was announced the next month!! So look for an engagement announcement shortly after Cressida’s visit, which means we should have another Royal Wedding in 2015!!

Unbeknownst or completely beknownst to Orlando Bloom, he’s causing problems between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. She posted a picture of her standing next to Orlando and she is GLOWING. Justin? He was SEETHING. A source told HollywoodLife.com that Selena and Justin simply don’t trust each other and that they’re both extremely jealous. He reportedly called her up and accused her of flirting with Orlando and reminded Selena how much it ticks her off when he hangs out with Miley Cyrus.

An alleged private conversation between 35-year-old James Franco and a 17-year-old girl visiting New York from Scotland was leaked online. Apparenlty, the two of them met when he was signing autographs outside the theater where he’s performing in “Of Mice and Men.” James asked her to tag him in a photo on Instagram so they could chat and that’s where it began. After the girl told James show was a few days shy of turning 18, he tried to convince her to meet him in his hotel room. James’ rep hasn’t commented, but James posted a photo of himself with the caption, “WHY ARE YOU SO THIRSTY FOR UNDERAGE ONES” and he tweeted, “I’M NOT! I HOPE PARENTS KEEP THEIR TEENS AWAY FROM ME. Thank you.” Now many are speculating that James is just yanking our chains and that this is all to promote his new movie, “Palo Alto,” in which James plays a high school teacher who has an affair with one of his teenage students.
