Lester Holt is subbing for Brian Williams… Selena Gomez and Zedd upcoming song release… Kevin Hart will be Bieber’s toastmaster… Iggy Azalea is upset with Papa John’s… and Family will let Bobbi Kristina die on same day as Whitney
Brian Williams says he pulled himself off of “NBC Nightly News” because he realized he was too much a part of the news right now. Lester Holt is subbing for him during his break. But sources say if NBC’s investigation into Brian’s history pulls up far too many lies to forgive and if the public isn’t willing to see him back in the anchor chair, there’s a growing list of possible replacements. It includes Lester Holt, Carl Quintanilla and Willie Geist. A source told “The Post” that whoever ends up with the job will have to have at least 15 years left in his or her career.
Selena Gomez is really with this Zedd guy. Or at least she wants us and Justin Bieber to think she is. She posted a picture of herself with her arms wrapped around Zedd, captioning it, “Harry to my Sally.” She added “#feb22 #IWYTK” — which stands for the upcoming release of their song, “I Want You To Know.” Is this just to drum up publicity for their song? Is it to make Justin jealous? Or is this a real “Harry Met Sally” situation where two longtime friends finally realize that they are meant to be together?
I’m sure the subject of Justin and Selena’s rocky relationship will be brought up a time or two during his Comedy Central roast. It’s been announced that Kevin Hart will handling the toastmaster duties. Kevin said, “I don’t normally do roasts, but I had to step out for my guy, Biebs.” Justin wanted to do this to celebrate turning 21, which happens on March 1. The roast is being recorded on March 14 and we get to see it on March 30.
Iggy Azalea was very upset when Papa John’s, tweeting, “Papa John’s was my favorite pizza but the drivers they use give out your personal phone number to their family members.” She also posted an example of just one of the non-stop texts and calls she was receiving as a result. Papa John’s issued a statement saying, “Privacy of our customers and employees is extremely important to us. Papa John’s has taken appropriate disciplinary action with regard to the employee involved. We are reaching out directly to Ms. Azalea and hope to resolve this incident and make it right.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family reportedly have decided to take her off of life support, but at the suggestion of her grandmother, Cissy Houston, they will wait until the stroke of midnight on February 11. That’s the same date her mother, Whitney Houston, passed away at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
