Stranger Things tease… Eminem’s cameo for “Happy Gilmore 2″… Lala Kent gave a glimpse… “Cabin Alone” rumor… and Erik & Lyle Menendez ‘could rake in millions’

Yesterday was Stranger Things Day! That’s because the the first episode of the series opened on Nov. 6, 1983. To celebrate, Netflix dropped a teaser for Season 5, revealing the names of all 8 episodes. In case you missed it, here they are!

  1. The Crawl
  2. The Vanishing of . . .
  3. The Turnbow Trap
  4. Sorcerer
  5. Shock Jock
  6. Escape from Camazotz
  7. The Bridge
  8. The Rightside Up

The Vanishing of . . . is NOT the full title of Episode 2, but in the teaser, whoever — or whatever — vanishes is blurred, so we have to wait for that big reveal. Also Season 4 was set in the Spring of 1986, but Season 5 does a little time jump, starting in the Fall of 1987. We don’t know the exact premiere date yet, but it will be sometime next year.

Adam Sandler is currently filming Happy Gilmore 2 and there will be a number of celebrities popping up in cameos. Back in September, it was reported that Bad Bunny joined as a cast member, but we don’t know what role. Last month, we learned Travis Kelce filmed some scenes at a luxury wedding venue called the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, NJ. Legendary golfer John Daly also said he’s filmed a cameo. There are also rumors that Tiger Woods, Bryson DeChambeau and Rory McIlroy have all filmed, and now……Eminem. The US Sun somehow found out that Eminem secretly flew in to New Jersey earlier this week to film a cameo. He did all his scenes in one day and flew out the next night. A source said Eminem is a huge fan of the original 1996 movie and was “an absolute delight on set.” The source also said Eminem “has good comedic acting skills.”

Speaking of Travis — He hosting the new game show Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? which began streaming on Amazon Prime back on Oct. 16. Celebrity panelists help contestants answer questions from elementary school subjects to win a $100K prize, and Vanderpump Rules’ Lala Kent serves as one of the celebrity panelists. On her podcast, she talked about how Taylor came to visit Travis on set during a lunch break, but they spent the entire time in his trailer. She surmised they did more than share a sandwich. But Lala also revealed that Travis has something in common with Keanu Reeves. When he poses for pictures, he doesn’t touch women. Instead, he hovers his hands close to their bodies. She said, “We take a group picture, and Travis — I’m next to him and I’m pregnant — I believe he had two girls on each of his sides. And when he put his arms around us, he did not touch, which I thought was very, very sweet.”

There have been six Home Alone movies, but will there be a seventh? Macaulay Culkin starred in the first two, Home Alone (1990) and Home Alone: Lost In New York (1992.) He passed on 3-6. However, someone shared a movie poster on Facebook promoting a new Home Alone movie — Cabin Alone, starring Macaulay and his movie mom Catherine O’Hara. The synopsis reads, “With snow-covered traps, outrageous pranks, and high-stakes holiday antics, they turn the quiet cabin into a thrilling battleground that’ll have you laughing and cheering.” It also says Cabin Alone will be released on Disney+ this December. However, this was all a gag. The creator of the Facebook page states, “I’m just here to eat frogs, lift rocks and be satirical. The page is 100% satire and fake news.” But still! The seed is planted and maybe Hollywood will respond! In the meantime, Macaulay is beginning his Home Alone: A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin tour across the US on Nov. 30. Audience members will “relive the iconic scenes and heartwarming moments from Home Alone on the big screen, and then dive deep into the behind-the-scenes stories and insights with Macaulay Culkin himself. Hear about his experiences on set, his favorite memories from filming, and his take on why this movie has become such a beloved holiday classic.”

Erik and Lyle Menendez were sentenced to life without parole for the 1996 murders of their parents, Kitty and Jose. As of now, the brothers have spent almost 35 years behind bars, but last month, the LA DA recommended that they be resentenced and released immediately, based on time served. A judge is expected to rule on that soon, and it’s possible the brothers could be out before Christmas. Although they were accused in court of killing their parents for money, it’s believed they lost the millions they inherited defending themselves. And while many prisoners struggle to find jobs after being released, that shouldn’t be a problem for the Menendez Bros. Previous Son of Sam laws forbid convicted criminals from profiting off their crimes in California, but those were found to be unconstitutional. Therefore Erik and Lyle would be free to profit from their story, potentially earning millions from book deals and speaking engagements.
