Octomom Nadya Suleman was in court yesterday to plead no contest to one misdemeanor count of welfare fraud. The mom of FOURTEEN was originally charged with four felonies because she didn’t report $30K of income when she applied for welfare benefits last year. Nadya now has to serve 200 hours of community service and two years probation. The LA Times is reporting that Nadya already paid back more than $26K to the Department of Public Social Services, which probably helped her in court.

He is one and done! After only one season as a (seldom) featured player on “Saturday Night Live,” Brooks Wheelan has gotten the boot. He seems to be taking the news okay, tweeting yesterday: “Had a blast and loved every second of it. I’m totally honored to be able to make this next joke…FIRED FROM NEW YORK IT’S SATURDAY NIGHT!”

Whoopi Goldberg wants us all to calm down with the rumors and speculation about who is or isn’t coming to “The View.” Names being tossed around right now include Sarah Palin, Ann Curry, Leah Remini, Meghan McCain, Mario Cantone….When TMZ caught up with Whoopi on the streets of New York, she said, “I work for Disney. Whatever they want. They want a guy? We’ll do a guy. All I know is, I have two years still on my contract. So all I know is, I’m still here.”

Those adult diaper commercials didn’t hurt her one bit! Lisa Rinna is joining the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and I strongly approve! She will join Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Foster, and sister Kim and Kyle Richards when the show returns for its fifth season this fall. Expect appearances by former Housewives regulars Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof and Taylor Armstrong, but gone are the witch and that woman with the fabulous hair. Carlton and Joyce were fired after only one season.

There have been rumors about Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi heading for divorce for quite some time. Portia is rumored to have recently gone to rehab to be treated for alcoholism. “In Touch” magazine says Portia secretly filmed her drunken arguments with Ellen because she wanted to show how controlling and manipulative Ellen is. When Ellen found out about it, she hit the roof and reportedly broke Portia’s phone. That’s when Portia reportedly decided to go to rehab.
