Cynthia Erivo strikes me as someone who takes herself very seriously. I guess Dax Shepard didn’t pick up on that because he asked the question so many of us have but would never dare to ask. When you see someone with incredibly long fingernails, don’t you wonder how they wipe? Well, that’s what Dax asked Cynthia when she was a guest on his Armchair Expert podcast. He did preface it by saying, “Can I ask you a really crazy question that’s inappropriate?” Before she could respond, he continued, “When you’re wiping your butt…” Cynthia said, “I knew you would ask that question,” and then continued, “My answer is that nobody uses just their fingers to wipe their backside. You use tissue, correct? And you wipe!” But Dax was still confused about how she actually held the tissue, asking if she used the tips of her fingernails. Cynthia said no, she uses the pads of her fingers. Then he went on to ask more inappropriate questions about the nails tickling down there, but Dax finally realized perhaps he was going too far, asking Cynthia if she was offended. She said no, she was more annoyed.

Last week, Dave Coulier announced he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a blood cancer that occurs when malignant cells form in the lymph system. The good news, Dave said, is that the cancer hadn’t spread to his bone marrow, which boosted his curability rate to 90 percent. He also shared he’d be undergoing chemotherapy until February. Because of the treatment, Dave wanted to shave his head, and his good friend John Stamos came over to help. Not only that, John put on a bald cap to lighten the mood, and Dave seemed to love it. John posted photos of the two of them sporting their chrome domes — his being fake, of course, captioning them, “Nothing like throwing on a bald cap and flexing some Photoshop skills to show some love and solidarity with my bro @dcoulier You’re handling this with so much strength and positivity—it’s inspiring. I know you’re going to get through this, and I’m proud to stand with you every step of the way. I love you (p.s. – @melissacoulier is the most wonderfulest – your true life line!)” John is getting a lot of supportive comments, but believe it or not, he’s also getting slammed for not literally shaving his head. One person posted, “A bald cap is showing solidarity? You can just take your cap off and be ‘normal’ again. When people take this route they actually shave their head. I can’t help but feel that you’re using Dave’s diagnoses as a way to make yourself more likeable.” Another posted, “What a shallow gesture! Couldn’t even cut your hair off for your friend. And you made sure to post it on Instagram to get those likes too.”
Kim Kardashian shared videos of her interacting with the new Tesla Robot, Optimus, which completely freaked me out!!! There HAS to be a human being inside a robot suit, right??? Optimus is expected to be available to the public in 2026, priced between $20K-$30K. Kim also showed off the new Tesla Cybercab, saying Optimus was going to take her for a ride.

Erik and Lyle Menendez need to press pause on their dreams of being home in time for Christmas. After being found guilty of murdering the parents, the brothers were ultimately sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Last month, LA County DA George Gascón recommended the brothers be resentenced, allowing them to be released based on time served. But then came November 5, and Gascón lost his re-election bid to Nathan Hochman. He’ll be sworn in on Dec. 2. Yesterday, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced the new DA needs time to review the Menendez brothers’ case, so it will be a while before he makes any clemency decisions.

A judge will hold an emergency hearing today which could threaten Diddy’s case. Officers raided Diddy’s cell and seized handwritten notes and other evidence they say suggests Diddy has influenced at least one witness and has attempted to blackmail others. They claim Diddy used 3-way calls and other inmates’ phone access codes to avoid detection. But Diddy’s attorneys all the stuff officers seized fell under “attorney-client privileged material,” violating Diddy’s Fourth, Fifth AND Sixth Amendment rights. His attorneys are also STILL trying to get him freed on bail, which a judge will address again this week.
