Batman will get a star… Cardi B back in the gym… Shakira was filmed… Miley Cyrus sued for copyright infringement… and Diddy having a Bblast with fans just before NYC arrest

It was announced yesterday that on Thursday, Sept. 26, Batman will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His will officially be Star No. 2790, and it will be located at 6764 Hollywood Boulevard in front of The Hollywood Guinness World Records Museum. How convenient, because that same day, an official Guinness World Records adjudicator will be on hand to certify that Batman is the first superhero ever to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Just 8 days after welcoming her third baby, Cardi B was back in the gym. She shared on her IG Story that she was “dying” while doing 30 minutes on the StairMaster. She did emphasize that because she’s less than 2 weeks postpartum, she’s only doing cardio. However, she also did a little humble brag saying, “Remember ladies this is my third baby. With my other 2 babies I was still on bedrest on my first week postpartum.” Cardi welcomed daughter Kulture in 2018 and son Wave in 2021. We’re still waiting to find out what she and estranged husband Offset have named their newest baby girl.

Shakira filmed a music video for her new song Salter at Miami’s LIV nightclub this weekend. As she was dancing on the stage above the crowd, people had their cellphones out filming. Shakira’s short dress kept riding up, and it looks like she noticed someone at an angle that caught a little too much of her business. She wagged her finger no at them but remained on the stage until she was sure the professional film crew got what they needed. Sources who were there say Shakira only seemed annoyed for about 15 seconds and she was over it.

Miley Cyrus is being sued for copying Bruno Mars’ When I Was Your Man for her song Flowers. However, Bruno isn’t the one suing. Temp Music Investments claims they hold a share of the copyright to Bruno’s original, and they want to get paid. Not only are they seeing an undisclosed amount in damages, they want to bar Miley from performing Flowers and distributing it in the future. This is the third time Miley’s been sued for alleged copyright infringement for her music. In 2018, a Jamaican artist named Michael May claims Miley’s 2013 song We Can’t Stop used similar lyrics to his 1988 song We Run Things. He sued for $300M in damages, but they settled out of court. Also in 2018, an artist who goes by Yella the Triple Threat accused Miley of infringement composition when she guested on Mike Will Made It’s 2013 song 23. That lawsuit was dropped a couple months later.

A grand jury has been hearing testimony from Diddy’s accusers for months, and they finally decided they had enough evidence to indict him. Diddy was scheduled to be arrested in NYC today, but for some reason, feds decided to seize him last night. Diddy had no idea it was coming. TMZ has photos of him and his son King Combs walking around the city, greeting fans and taking selfies. Thirty minutes later, Homeland Security swooped into the Midtown hotel where Diddy was staying and placed him under arrest. The warrant is sealed, so we don’t know yet what charges he’s facing. Obviously they’re connected to the sex trafficking allegations Diddy has been facing this past year. Since November, he’s been hit with 10 separate lawsuits, starting with his ex girlfriend Cassie.
