Weekend box office news… Elon Musk has broken up with Amber Heard… Aaron Carter’s announcement… More suing Usher for alleged STD… and Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are separating
It was a super slow weekend at the box office and the movie had terrible reviews going into its debut weekend, but “The Dark Tower” still managed to finish in first with only $19.5 million. “Dunkirk” was second with $17.6 million and “The Emoji Movie” was third with $12.4 million. “Girls Trip” took in another $11.4 million for fourth and I guess nobody wants to see movies about having your kid kidnapped because the new Halle Berry movie “Kidnap” opened in fifth place with $10.2 million.
After roughly a year of dating on the down-low, billionaire Elon Musk has broken up with Amber Heard. Sources say he had heard certain things about Amber’s behavior that didn’t sit too well with him. Elon and Amber met years ago when she was still married to Johnny Depp, but didn’t start dating until both of them were divorced.
Out of the blue, Aaron Carter decided to announce on social media that he finds both men and women attractive. He said the announcement doesn’t bring him shame, but that it was a weight and a burden that he’s held onto for a long time and he just wanted it off of him. The next day, Aaron’s rep released a statement saying that Aaron and his girlfriend Madison Parker have broken up. Just a month ago, Aaron says saying he wanted to propose to her. But the rep released a statement about the breakup saying, “It was a mutual decision and Aaron’s personal statement released speaks for itself. Now back to the music.”

Two women and a man are now suing Usher for infecting them with herpes. The attorney representing the group says she will file a lawsuit today alleging that Usher had sexual contact with each of them after 2012 without disclosing the fact that he has an STD, which is required by law. The attorney is also holding a news conference with one of the female accusers today. The other two want to remain private, and will be named in the complaint as Jane Doe and John Doe.
After 8 years of marriage, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced on their social media pages last night that they’ve legally separated. The statement said, “We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward.” Chris and Anna met in 2007 when they were both cast in the movie “Take Me Home Tonight.” They were married in 2009 and their son Jack will be five later this month.
