It was sad to hear that “Dancing With the Stars” judge Len Goodman passed away over the weekend. He was 78, just days away from his 79th birthday on April 25. We first met Len in 2005 when DWTS debuted on ABC. He retired from the show this past November to spend more time with his wife, their son and their two grandchildren. Reportedly, Len was battling bone cancer when he died. A spokeswoman for the family said Len died peacefully in hospice, surrounded by his family.

Could this be another Jennifer Lopez/Ben Affleck situation? After 11 years together, Ashanti and Nelly broke up way back in 2014. But it looks like — à la Ben and Jen — these two are giving it another try! Nelly and Ashanti sat together at the Gervonta Davis/Ryan Garcia boxing match in Vegas Saturday night. As they left the venue, someone captured video of them holding hands. Responding to an Instagram post from The Shade Room, Bow Wow said, “Yo mo! I know we not seeing eye to eye either really but from lil bro to big bro STOP PLAYING AND MARRY THIS WOMAN BRO! You like 50 sit yo old a** down this your queen” with lots of crying laughing emojis.

Some say it’s a PR stunt to promote her new music; others believe this is a rekindling romance. Whatever it is or isn’t, photographers snapped pictures of Shawn Mendes at the grocery store over the weekend, where he grabbed a bouquet of flowers to go along with this groceries. Then about 30 minutes after Shawn arrived back at his home in West Hollywood, Camila Cabello TRIED go unnoticed as she showed up at his house wearing an oversized orange sweatsuit with the hoodie up over her head, a face mask and sunglasses. A source told Page Six the two of them are “enjoying getting reacquainted and seeing where it goes.”

Last weekend at Coachella, Bad Bunny took a lot of heat after “goodnight benito could do as it was but harry could never do el apagaon” popped up on the video display behind him. Bad Bunny’s rep said he had nothing to do with that dig at Harry Styles, and the visual content company in charge of the display took full responsibility. At the end of his set this weekend, Bad Bunny did approve the message displayed behind him: “Sorry Harry. It was a mistake from my team. We love you. <3”. As far as this weekend’s surprise performances, before headlining, Bad Bunny jumped onstage with Gorillaz for their collaboration “Tormenta.” Last weekend, Labrinth brought out Billie Eilish, and this weekend, he shocked everyone with Zendaya! She hasn’t performed live in 8 years! Zendaya joined Labrinth on “I’m Tired” and “All For Us” from the “Euphoria” series. Labrinth also invited Sia to join him on the song “Thunderclouds” from the 2019 album of a supergroup calling themselves LSD for Labrinth, Sia and Diplo. And bonus surprise! Maddie Ziegler joined them to dance during Sia’s performance.

There were two celebrity weddings on Saturday, with one getting way more press than the other. Simone Biles married Jonathan Owens of the Houston Texans at what looks like a courthouse. Perhaps this was just a short, sweet legal ceremony before a big destination wedding celebration. But Sofia Richie’s wedding was anything but simple! She married British music executive Elliot Grainge at the super exclusive Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the French Riviera. Sofia commissioned Chanel to create three dresses for her big day: her rehearsal dress, her wedding gown and her afterparty dress. We will never know how much this cost, but the woman responsible for the hand-beading on Sofia’s rehearsal dinner dress said it took 3 months to complete! Sofia’s wedding dress was inspired by a look from Chanel’s 2023 fall runway. It was redesigned into a halter-neck gown, and for her “something blue,” Nicole had the couple’s initials and their wedding date stitched in blue thread on the inside of her dress where it would be next to her chest. Sofia’s daddy Lionel Richie walked her down the aisle and then apparently scooted right back to LA for “American Idol” Sunday night. Hopefully, he was able to enjoy some of the afterparty, where guests including Sofia’s sister Nicole Richie and her husband Joel Madden, family friend Cameron Diaz and husband/Joel’s twin Benji Madden, Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum were all treated to dinner by the pool while being entertained by a jazz trio.
