‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 12… Tom Brady update… Joe Jonas says Timothée Chalamet ghosted him… Matt Rife’s face… and Britney Spears tells fans she’s celebrating her ‘fifth birthday’ in Mexico…

 

After 11 seasons, the decision was made to scrap the cast of Vanderpump Rules and start from scratch. You may not remember but Vanderpump Rules is a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Season 1 kicked off back in January of 2013, featuring a bunch of unlikeable people who want to be famous all working at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant SUR. In addition to the Lisa Vanderpump connection, there was also the connection between Real Housewife Brandi Glanville and Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay, who’d slept with Eddie Cibrian when he was still married to Brandi, although Scheana claims she didn’t know he was married. Anyway! None of the cast work at SUR anymore. Ariana won’t even speak to Tom. And they all make too much money. So one day before they announced it to the rest of us, the cast was told they’re done. Andy Cohen agrees with the decision, saying it was “the absolute right thing to do.” He also thinks the way things ended on Season 11 was “the perfect way to say goodbye to the cast.” For Season 12, executive producer Alex Baskin said, “Under Lisa Vanderpump’s watchful eye, the West Hollywood mainstay SUR — and now TomTom — welcomes the next batch of servers, hosts and bartenders rife with plenty of drama, situationships and frenemies.” Season 12 is set to begin production next year. The premiere date and cast will be announced at a later date.

Tom Brady took part in a Mr. Beast passing competition against Florida high school quarterback Jake Balanovich….and Tom LOST. Jake not only beat Tom, he won $100K for doing it! In Tom’s defense, Mr. Beast rigged the competition in Jake’s favor. They were both throwing footballs at balloons but Jake’s were way bigger….and Jake’s final ball bounced on the ground before coming up and hitting the target….but STILL.

Joe Jonas is getting a taste of his own medicine. After ghosting our very own J-Si, Joe is calling out Timothée Chalamet for ghosting him for almost a year! Joe posted a screenshot of the selfie he sent Timmy with “miss you,” explaining, “Last December I sent Timothee Chalamet a text from my friends phone anticipating a response.” Then Joe posted a new selfie he captioned, “This December he still hasn’t texted back. Hope this helps.” I’m sure he’ll let us know if and when Timmy responds.

Matt Rife is only 29, but he’s lived enough life to write a memoir. Your Mom’s Gonna Love Me is out today. In it, Matt responds to rumors that he’s undergone multiple plastic surgery procedures. He blames his changing looks on late-onset puberty. Matt wrote, “Puberty, after its sweet time for more than 20 years, finally decided to hit me square in the face. Over a few months, I went from looking like a 13-year-old to look like, you know, my actual age. Like an actual grown-ish man. My face got wider, my features became more prominent, I grew a few inches taller.” He also accuses plastic surgeons who discuss Matt’s face on social media of having a “frightening lack of common sense.” He wrote, “Can the medical board please just issue an official certificate telling you to get a life?”

In August of 2023, Sam Asghari filed for divorce from Britney Spears after 14 months of marriage. On Monday — the day before her 43rd birthday — TMZ says the divorce was finalized and they are both legally single. Sam is now dating real estate agent Brooke Irvine, and Britney reportedly is no longer dating her former house- and groundskeeper Paul Richard Soliz. Also on Monday, paparazzi caught photos of Britney boarding a private jet to Mexico, and was strangely pressing a grill lighter to her lips the entire time. Was she sending us a message? No. On her birthday Tuesday, Britney said she didn’t know why she was even holding the lighter. She thinks her friend handed it to her. She was also ticked off at the paparazzi, saying they have always been mean to her and made her look like she was warming a white Jason mask. Britney said because of that, she’s moving to Mexico. And, Britney said she wasn’t turning 42, she was actually turning 5 and starting kindergarten today.
