Weekend box office news… Charlie Puth forced to cancel… Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom finally signed divorce papers… Justin Bieber dropped the mic… and Are Demi Lovato and John Mayer dating?

Who would’ve thought the day would come when a Tom Cruise action movie didn’t open in first place! But the power of Madea proved to be too much for Jack Reacher. Tyler Perry’s “A Madea Halloween” was number one this weekend with $27.6 million. “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” placed second with $23 million. Third went to “Ouija: Origin of Evil” with $14.1 million.

A couple weeks ago, Charlie Puth posted a picture of himself in a hospital bed. He later posted that he “got hit by a bus of flu” but that he was doing better. However, Charlie spoke way too soon and now he’s forced to cancel the remaining dates on his “Don’t Talk Tour.” He tweeted that he’s “extremely sick” and hasn’t taken the time his body needs to recover, which is what he’s going to do now. He promises to make it up to us!

It felt like it took forever, but Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom finally signed their divorce papers on Friday. All that needs to happen now is for the judge to sign off, and that’s expected to happen next month. Khloe initially filed for divorce in 2013 but put everything on hold when Lamar came close to dying in a Nevada brothel last October. But after his miraculous recovery, Khloe re-filed for divorce in May. She is currently dating Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson, who’s expecting a baby with his ex-girlfriend, Jordy C, next month.

Justin Bieber tried telling those squealing Brits to take a chill pill, but they just wouldn’t listen. Last Monday, he asked the crowd to please be quiet and listen while he was speaking to them, but they screamed anyway. A couple days later he tried again, asking fans to please stop screaming while he tried to have a meaningful conversation with them, but this time they booed. And finally during the last of three performances in Manchester last night, Justin again pleaded with the crowd, “I appreciate all the support. I appreciate love….But the screaming in these breaks has got to stop. Please and thank you. I don’t think it’s necessary when I’m trying to say something and you guys are screaming.” When they kept on screaming anyway, Justin literally dropped the mic and walked off.

She likes ‘em older, and he likes ‘em wild. So this could actually be a match made in Heaven! John Mayer and Demi Lovato were hanging out in West Hollywood this Saturday. They arrived and left separately at this rooftop restaurant called Catch, but everybody who saw them inside said they were really hitting it off. A source told “Us Weekly,” “John had his arm around Demi and was whispering sweet nothings into her ear…She was into it. They weren’t making out or anything, but she was giggling the whole time.”
