Movie theatres are saying, “no singing!”… Anna Delvey sends cease-and-desist to Walmart… Coachella 2025 lineup… Pete Davidson spotted courtside… and 2024 CMA Awards

If you’re a huge Wicked fan and you’re super psyched for the movie, you need to know this going in: AMC Theaters will not allow you to sing along. In fact, they’re running a 30-second warning set to clips from the movie that says, quote, “No talking. No texting. No singing. No wailing. And absolutely no name-calling. Enjoy the magic of movies.” Hopefully, other theaters will enforce a similar policy. But, let’s face it, it’s going to be real hard to keep those theater kids quiet….However! There are theaters planning to hold special screenings where audience participation is encouraged, but those don’t start until Christmas Day.

Page Six was first to report that fake heiress Anna Delvey sent a cease-and-desist to Walmart after they began selling T-shirts and sweaters with her name and picture on them. Anna’s real name is Anna Sorokin, but she went to prison for created this fake heiress persona to scam businesses and individuals out of more than a quarter million dollars. She had the foresight of trademarking her criminal alias just before she left prison. So after she saw that Walmart began offering clothing with her fake and real names along with photos taken during her trial, Anna had her lawyer fire off a cease-and-desist, giving them until yesterday to pull it all down or face legal action. I just went to Walmart.com and the stuff is all still there, so you’re move, Anna.

According to TMZ, sources have confirmed the 2025 Coachella lineup. Perhaps Post Malone announcing his upcoming dates with Jellyroll gave his spot away. In addition to Posty, Lady Gaga, Green Day and Travis Scott are also said to be headlining. The full lineup will be released in early January. Sources say this festival appearance is a redemption, of sorts, for Travis Scott. Back in 2017, Travis performed at Coachella, but not as a headliner. That was supposed to happen in 2022, but Travis dropped after the Astroworld Festival tragedy in Houston. Kanye promised he was going to bring Travis out for his own headlining set, but that ended up being canceled over Kanye’s unreasonable staging demands.

On Monday, the US Sun reported that Pete Davidson checked himself into a Florida rehab facility after a breakup with former Bachelor contestant Maria Georgas, whom he’d been secretly dating. When Maria hear that, she immediately jumped on Instagram, saying she never dated Pete, but she IS friends with his sister. In fact, Maria said she just got off the phone with Pete’s sister, who said Pete was absolutely fine at home, not in rehab. And to completely shut down the rumor, Pete got courtside seats for the Nets vs. Hornets game at the Barclays Center in NYC Tuesday night, and he took his mom as his date.

The 58th Annual Country Music Awards were last night, hosted by Peyton Manning, Luke Bryan and Lainey Wilson. Chris Stapleton opened the show with his surprise guest Post Malone, who’s getting raked over the coals for his performance. Chris also performed with George Straight, who was the winner of this year’s CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. For the first time in her career, Carrie Underwood wasn’t nominated for a CMA Award, so a lot of people assumed she’d skip the event. Well, SURPRISE! Carrie popped up to perform I’m Gonna Love You with Cody Johnson, who won Album of the Year for Leather. Morgan Wallen led the night with 7 nominations, and he lost them all except for the big one: Entertainer of the Year. Chris Stapleton picked up 3 trophies, winning Male Vocalist of the Year, Best Song and Best Single of the Year for White Horse. Lainey Wilson won 2, one for Female Vocalist and the other for the music video for Wildflowers and Wild Horses. Brooks & Dunn won Duo of the Year for the 15th time — but it was their first time winning that one in 18 years!! That win gives Brooks & Dunn 19 CMAs, tying them with Chris Stapleton for having the most CMAss ever. Old Dominion won Vocal Group of the Year for the 7th straight year, giving them the record over Little Big Town who won it 6 years in a row. And a big congratulations to Megan Moroney for winning New Artist of the Year!
