Today’s overachieving teacher is Katie Myles and she is planning on using the money to purchase hands-on activities for the classroom! Read what she wrote about her class below.
“I am wanting to purchase hands-on activities for my health classroom. I teach several important topics like alcohol and drug prevention, CPR, and first aid. There are a few things that I am really interested in purchasing like a Heimlich maneuver dummy and vision impairment goggles (drunk goggles). I absolutely love teaching health and I feel like it is so important for our children’s futures. I am trying to expand my curriculum to make it as fun and engaging as possible!”
