Jamie Pressly’s controversial post… Kevin Hart is back to work… The Season 4 premiere… Mark Ruffalo tweeted his displeasure… and Justin Bieber wants to go on double date

Jamie Pressly — who plays Jill on “Mom” — posted something very controversial on her Instagram. Parents always deny they have a favorite child — although Kris Jenner jokes that she has a favorite “this week” — but Jamie flat out picks her favorite son! Of course you’re thinking, this has to be her only son because who would say that out loud, much less proclaim it on an Instagram post. Nope! Jamie posted a selfie of her and her favorite and captioned it, “Best time ever hangin with my favorite son, Dezi. That’s right I said it. I have a favorite son although I luv all 3 of my boys with everything I have in me. Dez and I have a special bond that no one else will ever match because we’ve grown up together. #firstborn #iloveyou” People get destroyed on social media for doing stuff way less controversial than this, but Jamie is actually getting a lot of support from people who are praising her for speaking her truth!

It’s been almost 6 weeks since Kevin Hart was in that horrible car crash that left him with a broken back. But Kevin has a movie to promote! So his doctor has given him the green light to ease back into work. Dwayne Johnson, Danny DeVito and Danny Glover all reworked their schedules so they could do some promotional shoots for “Jumanji: The Next Level,” which comes out in December. Kevin was able to do a couple hours on the set Monday and another couple on Tuesday. He took yesterday off, but is expected to be back at it for a couple of hours today. Sources say Kevin is able to walk on his own, but he’s sitting for a lot of the promo shoots.

“Riverdale” is back. The Season 4 premiere is a tribute to the late Luke Perry, who played Archie’s dad, Fred. Luke died in March after suffering a massive stroke. He was only 52. They were still filming Season 3 when Luke passed away, but the show runner said the decision was quickly made to wait and address it in Season 4. They didn’t want to do a disservice to Luke’s memory by rushing a storyline, so they really took their time and thought about it. Without spoiling too much, they made the decision to have Fred die a heroic death that would be very impactful on his son. They also honor Luke’s memory by including video clips and photos of him that not only come from previous “Riverdale” episodes, but also from Luke’s everyday life. And I won’t tell you how, but Shannen Doherty plays a big part in the episode.

Ellen DeGeneres made a lot of people happy when she defended her friendship with President George W. Bush. She reminded us, “When I say be kind to one another, I don’t only mean the people that think the same way that you do. I mean be kind to everyone.” Some of her famous friends praised her. Reese Witherspoon tweeted, “Thank you for this important reminder, Ellen!” And Kristen Bell said, “She’s my queen.” But not everyone is pleased with Ellen. Mark Ruffalo tweeted his displeasure, “Sorry, until George W. Bush is brought to justice for the crimes of the Iraq War, (including American-lead torture, Iraqi deaths & displacement, and the deep scars—emotional & otherwise—inflicted on our military that served his folly), we can’t even begin to talk about kindness.” And now Reese and Kristen are getting slammed for their posts, too.

Miley Cyrus has been released from the hospital, and nobody is happier about it than her new boyfriend, Cody Simpson. Miley had been suffering from a bad case of tonsillitis and it sounds like she had them removed. Cody posted a picture of Miley right before she was released, captioning it, “My sick girl finally free.” She also shared a bathroom selfie of the two of them, which was captioned, “She made it home (heart emoji) Recovering from surgery send all the vibes.”
