DWTS’ 500th episode… The Scandal cast will reunite… A TMZ investigation on Tubi… ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star shares details with Taylor Swift security… and Introducing PEOPLE’s 2024 Sexiest Man Alive

Last night, Dancing With the Stars celebrated its 500th episode with a lot of special surprises. Pro favorite Sharna Burgess returned for the opening number, Crazy in Love, which was the same opening number performed in the 2005 series premiere. A lot of past competitors returned, as well, including Adam Rippon, Ginger Zee, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Alyson Hannigan, AJ McLean and Simone Biles. But it’s still about the competition, and the six remaining teams performed routines inspired by fan-favorite performances from past season. Chandler Kinney and pro Brandon Armstrong paid tribute to Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough’s Season 16 performance with an Argentine Tango, earning the first perfect score of 30 this season. And SPOILER ALERT: I need o check on Emma Kelly because her favorite, Dwight Howard and his professional partner Daniella were eliminated at the end of the night.

On Sunday, Nov. 17, the cast of Scandal is reuniting for a live virtual script-reading to raise money for hurricane relief in western North Carolina. Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn, Scott Foley, and Bellamy Young are just a few of the many cast members taking part. Bellamy — who played first lady and later Republican presidential nominee Mellie Young — was born and raised in Asheville, NC. After seeing the devastation Hurricane Helene caused in her home state, she came up with this fundraising idea and her fellow Scandal cast members were happy to join. This will be the first time the cast has gotten together for a script reading since Scandal ended with its seventh season in 2018. We don’t know which episode they’ll be reading, but you can go online right now to donate, which reserves your spot to watch. There’s also a virtual pre-event with the cast and show creator Shonda Rhimes. Plus, one lucky donor will get to read a role with the cast! Go to Prizeo.com and search under Television Experiences. Proceeds will benefit the United Way of North Carolina.

TUBI is currently streaming TMZ Presents: The Downfall of Diddy: Inside the Freak-Offs. Viewer discretion advised. In it Harvey Levin interviews Tanea Wallis, a dancer who says she attended one of the Freak-Offs and saw a lot of celebrities — including a famous rapper — taking part in the debauchery. Ray J says he’s been contacted by multiple celebrities who are so scared about their affiliation with Diddy that they’re paying some of the alleged victims to stay quiet. They’re being very proactive about it, Ray J says, reaching out to these people with offers before they start making money demands. Houston attorney Tony Buzbee claims he will ultimately represent more than 100 Diddy accusers and has already filed 15 complaints on behalf of unnamed plaintiffs. In this TMZ documentary, Buzbee reveals he’s sent a demand letter out to several high-profile people, giving them a choice: Pay up or get sued.

Camilla Luddington plays Dr. Jo Wilson on Grey’s Anatomy. Jessica Capshaw played Dr. Arizona Robbins for 11 seasons, leaving the show in March 2018. Together, they host a podcast called Call It What It Is. On the latest episode, Call It Cuffing Season, Camilla talks about her experience as a celebrity in the VIP section at a Taylor Swift concert. Now, when Jessica saw the Eras Tour in Paris, she got to meet Taylor backstage. Camilla expected the same would happen for her when she saw the Eras Tour back here in the US, but no. She not only didn’t get to meet Taylor, she said her experience being ushered out of the stadium felt more like a military operation. It should be noted that Jessica met Taylor before the bomb threat in Austria. Taylor’s team does things VERY differently now. As Taylor’s show was nearing its conclusion, Camilla thought, “Oh, this is the moment someone’s going to grab me and be like, ‘It’s time for you to meet Taylor like Jessica Capshaw!’ And instead, you know what actually happened? Like, 20 minutes before the show even ended they were like, ‘Some people are leaving now if you want to leave.’ I was like, ‘The secret room is clearly not happening…’” Then as they were being escorted through the back way, a security guard turned and said, “Stop! Everyone Pause!” He explained Taylor needed to leave first and then they would be allowed to leave. Camilla said, “So it wasn’t just that I didn’t get to go to the secret room, it’s that I couldn’t even be within 100 feet of her leaving in case we caught eyes.”

People magazine has named John Krasinski as this year’s Sexiest Man Alive. The announcement was made last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. John told Stephen he thought he was being punked when they called and told him the big news, and apparently, a lot of people posting about it on social media felt the same way. Among some of the comments: “I just be missing something” and “I stayed up till midnight for this bulls***.” But others were completely on board with this choice. One said, “Be nice, I think he’s sexy.. maybe not sexiest.. but he is smart and funny.” Another posted, “I can’t handle seeing the internet be mean to John Krasinski this is so sad he’s sexy I guess leave him alone.’
