Apple TV Plus is now streaming…Offset has a new show…Friends coming to theaters near you…Priyanka Chopra Jonas is rocking the crocs
After spending billions and signing some of the biggest names in Hollywood to help launch this thing, Apple TV+ is here! Apple’s budget for original content was initially said to be a billion dollars, but more recent reports say they’ve spent more like $6B. The most expensive show they’re producing is “The Morning Show,” which cost a reported $300 million for two seasons. That averages out to about $15 million per episode. How are they going to pay for all this?? They’re hoping we’ll all subscribe at just $4.99 per month. That makes Apple TV+ one of the cheapest streaming services out there.

Offset has signed on to host a new car series for Quibi called “Skrrt with Offset!” The show will feature a bunch of big celebrities cruising around with Offset in their cars while he interview them. So it’s sort of like Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” right? Offset is real excited, saying this will give him a chance to connect with his fans in another way and to let us all know just how much he knows about cars. Quibi is described as a “built for millennials streaming service” that features 10-minute episodes produced exclusively for your mobile phone. For $5/month, you’ll get content from a bunch of big celebrities besides Offset, including Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, Tyra Banks and Don Cheadle.

In September, “Friends” celebrated its 25th anniversary by releasing 12 episodes in theaters. It made $2.9M in three days. Since it was such a hit they are doing it again with eight Thanksgiving episodes. It will be for two nights, Nov. 24 and Nov. 25, and in 700 movie theaters. Each day will feature four episodes that have been remastered in 4K. We can relive those iconic moments like Monica dancing with a turkey on her head, Ross revealing a big secret, Chandler declaring his love for Monica, and Joey eating an entire turkey while wearing maternity/turkey-eating pants. Of course we have to talk about what all the celebrities dressed up as for Halloween. Well…not ALL of them. But here are SOME of them…Kim Kardashian was Reese Witherspoon’s character Elle Woods from “Legally Blonde.” Kylie Jenner had four Halloween costumes — a Playboy bunny, Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, and Ariel from “The Little Mermaid.” For that one, her girlfriends dressed up like other Disney princesses. Sofia Richie was Sleeping Beauty. Sofia also did a couple’s costume with Scott Disick. They went as Ken and Barbie. Drake dressed up as his dad and even posed next to him, which is really interesting since his dad busted him for making up stuff about their relationship to sell music. Ciara and Russell Wilson went as Beyonce and Jay-Z. (Still looking for pictures of Beyonce’s Halloween costume…) Chris Hemsworth dressed up as the Grim Reaper. A dig at Cody Simpson and the tattoo he got with Miley Cyrus on behalf of his brother Liam? Speaking of Miley and Cody, they dressed up as Perri Lister and Billy Idol, who had a passionate love affair in the 80s. They posted videos of them making out, if you want to go look, but why…..And Jennifer Garner lived her truth! She posted a video from when she gave the commencement address to Denison University in Ohio back in the spring, imploring the young women in the audience, “When it comes to Halloween costumes, go funny over sexy. Why would you dress like a flirty nurse when you could be a mailbox?” And for Halloween, Jennifer went dressed as a great big mailbox! And of course, Heidi Klum goes all in for Halloween and this year, she spent almost 13 hours getting made up as a gross alien.
