For a hot minute, I was contemplating joining Match.com, Plenty of Fish, eHarmony, and any number of dating sites just to keep my feet wet in the dating pool. Most of these sites have multiple pricing structures ranging anywhere from $10 per month all the way up to $50 per month. Then if you do find a date, you still have to pay for the dinner, drinks or whatever the date is. Then, something hit me. Why give all of that money to the dating sites? The money is going to meet girls, right? So, why not just give the money straight to the girls if they agree to go out with me? Then, they can use the money for our date or whatever they want.
Here’s my plan: I am going to host a Bachelorette watching party at my bar this Sunday night. then during the commercials, I am going to do my own version of the Bachelor. I’ll call it the Black-chelor. I’ll pick a girl out of the group and she will win $200… but here’s the thing. After I have deemed her the girl that I would most like to go out with, she will have to make a choice. Take the $200 and go home, or she can give the $200 back and go out with me.
Chances are if we have any chemistry at all, the date will lead to much more than a mere $200. See you Sunday!
