The event was a hit and Jerry was awesome. I was a little afraid at first because it was slow at the beginning. But we quickly got busy. It was almost like everyone showed up at the same time. And when Jerry walked in the back door, the crowd just started the chant. Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! I walked him up to a VIP area that I had roped off and showed him to his table. Almost immediately, he was surrounded by people wanting to take a picture. And he did. He didn’t turn a single person away. In fact, he even spent a few moments with most people asking their names and cracking a few quick jokes. He was awesome. He opened with one of his favorites, “Love Me Tender” and he closed with “Hound Dog.” Elvis would be proud.

elvis-salmonAfterwards, he was hungry. So I took him to my favorite restaurant and told him about the Salmon. Why is it that the richer you are, the more people want to buy you stuff? I’m not sure why that is but since he did come all this way to sing Elvis songs at my bar, I felt the least I could do would be to buy the man a fish filet.

Thanks Jerry Springer for a Great Evening. Fun was had by all.
